So I’m finally sharing about our first trip as a family of 4 in Maui, Hawaii….back in October. Yes, it took me sometime to sort through and edit these images. Oops. Traveling with two wee ones was no joke. Roman was only 5 months old. The amount we pack for two small bodies always amazes me. haha. We loved our little condo in Kapalua. Zoey called it our “Hawaii home” and enjoyed having “sleepovers” in the living room. I wish I took more photos of the condo; actually I wish I took more photos period. Although it was rare that I didn’t have Roman attached to me. It was also a bit rainy, and as a newbie I was too scared to get my gear wet. At the same time, it forced me to be present with my beautiful family and enjoy the amazing island. We travelled all throughout Maui and had a beach day everyday. It was the first time Zoey swam in the ocean (with bright pink floaties of course). Even Roman took a dip time to time. We visited Ali’i Kula Lavender Farm, explored the caves at Wai’anapapa State Park, ate poke and shaved ice anytime we had the chance. We also did the road to Hana, which you can imagine included a few meltdowns with the kids for being in the car for so long. Overall our trip was a success and I cannot wait until we get the chance to go back. Mahalo Maui!
If you have about 5 minutes to spare, here is a video I put together of some footage I had and iphone photos. Try not to barf, since I don’t know how to hold a camera still. Especially with a baby strapped to me, which is probably why I had so much footage in the car. haha. The song is Surely Goodness by Israel Houghton. Enjoy!
